“Making Your Own Decisions”
Share This Essay:
Have you ever been confused of what you believe? I have. What I believe in concerning religion is very confusing for me because I cannot make up my mind. I come from a religious family and I thought my only choice was to follow their footsteps. Later on, my sister told me that she does not believe in god, and from that day on I do not know what to decide. What I think is that not everyone has to know where they stand at an early age; later on they may change their minds as they get older. I think that as time goes by I will realize what I really believe in. I think that I could still be the person that my parents want me to become without having the same beliefs as them. I should follow what I think it’s right for me when it come to knowing who I will become as I grow older.
Doing what I think it is right it takes a set of spirituality and it does not necessarily be a religious principle, it is only a sensible way to make actions that does not affect I and others in a bad way. In the same event I am freeing my spirit from reaching difficulties in my life. Also making right decisions like going to college, earn a career and get a good employment will help guide me towards my beliefs. I have seen a religious group that are true believers and seem to live a life with fewer problems than the ones that does not. So to me both groups end up almost in the same path in society, it does not matter which group I choose it will take plenty of spirituality to carry on in this world.
