This I Overcame
Share This Essay:
Have you ever done something that you didn’t want to do because you were scared or you were worried about somebody might say or do?
When I was in the 7th grade I was on the basketball team. We had an away game facing Sawyer and they were weak but they had this big dude on their team. My coach put me in and told me to guard the big dude and I’m not going to lie I was worried I might mess up or I might not live. At the end we won and when we got on the bus I was proud of my self and everyone was proud too. I realized that if I didn’t do what my coach told me I wouldn’t be confident or be the person I am now.
I have very deep feelings about this belief and the reason why is because it is like a motivation and I say this because friends and family motivated me to overcome a fear even if it was little or big things or the fear. That is why I am writing about this fear because my writing teachers said write what you believe or life would be hard.
I believe that anyone can overcome a fear or the fear because any thing is possible and now that everyone told me that I can I am telling everyone that they can and let it happen or something bad or good would happen because you never know because it was maybe was meant to happen.
