Every Girl Should Carry Lip Gloss in Her Back Pocket
Share This Essay:
Shopping in Victoria Secret with a gift card in my hand and looking at big red signs that say sale, is definitely my kind of Saturday. That was the day I grew a strong belief for something incredible. I know that Lip Gloss is one of the best inventions and I believe that every girl should carry a tube in her back pocket.
I walked around Victoria Secret in awe that there were so many sales going on. I didn’t even know where to start my shopping. I looked to my left and saw eye shadow and blush, three for fifteen dollars! On my right was lotion and perfumes, two for ten dollars. Could this day get any better? I think it could! Straight ahead of me, heaven is what I call it, were racks of assorted lip gloss. Not only were there over thirty different kinds to choose from, they were on sale three for seven dollars. I walked over to this rack of heaven trying to decide which kind I should get. There were too many good ones. I ended up buying over ten different kinds of lip gloss; call me addicted.
This day just kept getting better. I left the mall and headed over to my sister apartment for her birthday party. We were outside in the back playing sand volleyball. I was getting a work out, my lips started to feel dry. I felt it was important that some kind of moisture be placed on my lips. And guess what was in my back pocket? That’s right, one of the lip gloss’s that I bought earlier. These things save lives!
One of my friends later that night asked me if I had any lip gloss, did I ever? Ten of them; I had one in my back pocket already that I let her use. I made another belief that night; a girl should always have a tube of lip gloss in her back pocket. It’s so handy to have around. When ever you need moisturizer on your lips and something that also tastes amazing, lip gloss is the answer. There is a rule that comes along with carrying lip gloss in your back pocket though. Before going to the bathroom make sure that you put your lip gloss on the counter. Otherwise you will drop it in the toilet. It will be your favorite kind of lip gloss too, “Butter-Scotcha”, yeah I’m still bitter. I might need to make a manual that comes with these.
I’ve learned over the years that carrying lip gloss in your back pocket can get you through anything. If you’re bored in class, pull out your lip gloss. If your lips get dry, pull out your lip gloss. If you want a boy to come closer to you, pull out your lip gloss. They come in handy in any situation. You can never go wrong; unless you forget to put it on the counter. I know that lip gloss is one of the best inventions and every girl should carry a tube in her back pocket.
