“Family Comes First”
Share This Essay:
Family always comes first, this I believe. From day one, when you enter this world, family surrounded me. They are there to guide you through life. To love and comfort you when you need it. Everyone can turn to their family when they have no one else to run to. Family gives you the advice that helps to fix problems.
Some people are closer to certain family members then others. I am closer to my mom than anyone else in my family. Whenever I have problems I know that I can go to her and she will listen to what I have to say no matter how long I talk. Her advice usually solves my problems. I can always gossip to her about what is happening in my social circle. If I am having an argument with a friend she helps me sort everything out. She doesn’t act like I am a perfect child either. She usually tells me to step back and think about if I did anything wrong. She asks if I gave attitude or did anything to be rude. If I realize that I did she helps me think of the best way to fix the issue.
The next person I am closest to is my brother. Whenever the few things come up that I am skeptical about telling to my mom I can tell him and he thinks of the best way for me to break the news to my mom. If there ever is a problem at home that I need to escape from he lets me go to his apartment to recuperate. He helps me calm down. He has been around longer than I have so he knows how to handle certain problems with my mom better than I would. He does his job of giving me the perfect “big brother” advice.
Family should always come first in everyone’s life. They are there from day one to love and support you throughout your lifetime. They do their best to give you the best advice possible so you can make it through any rough times that come up. Some people are closer to certain family members than others. That is okay because everyone shares a special bond that is on of a kind with one another. When friends leave family will be by your side until the end. This is why family should always come first, this I believe.
