I Believe in Optimism
I believe in optimism, hope, and positivity. I believe smiles and laughter are truly the best medicine. Optimism has gotten me through the hardest trials of my life and every morning I wake up I try to remember that everything is ok and it is a new day. My great-grandmother, Hazel, truly taught me the value of positive thinking. Even in her last moments of life facing Alzheimer’s, she remained positive as she took my hand with her wrinkled, shaking hand. I believe laughter can fix many problems, and smiles can cause a positive chain of events. I believe a person can choose to be positive, even if they have faced adversity in their life.
