This I Believe
Share This Essay:
I believe there’s always next year. The Chicago Cubs have always been a good team, and I have been a fan since I’ve been around 5 or 6 years old. I grew up in a family full of Sox fans. The two Cubs’ fans in my family were my grandma and grandpa on my mom’s side of the family. We used to live with my grandma when we were little and I watched the Cubs almost every day with my grandpa. That’s how I became a Cubs fan and have been ever since.
The Chicago Cubs’ fans I think are the most loyal of all the teams. Win or lose, the fans always come out to support the cubs. Even after 100 years of not winning a world series, our fans our still happy that they try as hard as they can. Like it’s said, there’s always next year. Unlike other teams like the Kansas City Royals, have horrible fans. I remember last year when they played at home and I saw the game on TV. They would have hardly any fans come out to watch the game. But the Cubs, however, have fans that come out every single day to watch and support the team. We Cubs’ fans believe that we will win another world series. Even if we don’t, we will always have the fans coming out to watch them play. That’s all we will ever need. I believe there’s always next year.
