This I believe that education is the key to having a successful life
Share This Essay:
I believe that education is the key to having a successful life. As a child I could remember thinking how life would be as adult, unaware of the challenges I would have to face as a woman. Women today should be grateful to women of the past for creating a pathway in changing their lives. Their hard work and dedication towards being recognized in society made it possible for women today to plan their future. Without education many women would find themselves depending on someone else to care for them.
I could remember how hard my mother worked. She worked inside the home, managed to find work outside the home and still had the energy to care for her family. Her strong will to obtain an education has played an important part in my life. Education was a huge part of my life as I was growing up. There was not to much room for play in my home. I do not take my education for granted. My decision to continue my education is most important to me. I am finding that the more I achieve my goals, I am setting an example for my children. Their attitude towards education is different from many young adults. Most young adults think that as long as they could obtain employment, they do not need to continue with their education. I try toencourage young people to dedicate at least eight years of their life to college. Stressing the fact that knowledge and education is a way to secure a future and without it people could not live comfortably. Although the economy makes it hard to pay for college, there are many other trade schools that could be utilized. If a person has a marketable skill, that would be another way to secure their future.
