“The key to change… is to let go of fear,” Society thinks of change as a terrible thing, but the only reason for that is fear. If we let go of fear then change becomes almost nothing. This is a common misconception about change.
Slowly, people change and the world changes in different ways. Moving is an experience that many people will go through or already have. This huge change in many lives can bring many new and wonderful things. More specifically, new friends and new places to go. Starting a new school or new job at any age brings change; that can bring people to be a better person because of the big challenges offered.
Thinking about change, people always jump to conclusions. Most people imagine change as “scary”. Change is good but also “scary” at the same time. For example a new job; you want to do your best but, scared of messing up. So why are people afraid of change when it hasn’t come yet? They are worried that it will ruin their future or lives. In other words, they are scared.
How can we show people that change is good? This year, 2009, lots of things are changing. For example, a new president, when good things happen, then we can convince people that change is good. If that doesn’t work then we can bring positive examples of change back from the past. Using things from the past could change the way America and the world thinks.
People around the world are some what used to change. I wonder why people think of change so harshly. “The key to change… is to let go of fear,” I like this quote because fear is one of the main reasons people don’t like change. If we let go of fear, change will come much easier. “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Why do we get so fixed on the past if we will never go back? This is because we have made wonderful memories and want to relive them.
Finding friends, a great experience that comes out of change. Change is scary at first but for the better in the end. If you hold on to fear then you will never get anything good out of a wonderful experience.
We can change the world, if we just change our perspective on the way we view things. Not only can we change the world, yet we can change our selves.
