I believe that family will still be there for you when the rest of the world walks out on you. My family has always been here for me supporting every decision I make. A lot of people take their families for granted and don’t realize how much they need them until its too late. I love and appreciate my family, and I always have. I thank God for them everyday, without them I wouldn’t be here today. My family motivates me to do better, work harder, and never give up.
Being the youngest child of three and the youngest cousin of seven has let me see what my family has done before me. I watched and learned from their mistakes. None of my siblings or older cousins have gone to college and finished with a degree. Instead of looking at this and seeing that this could be my destiny too, I look at it as motivation. I am motivated to be what they couldn’t be, to do what they wanted to do. They all tell me that they believe in me and know I’m going to be the one who finally graduates from college with a degree.
Friends will come and go in life, but I know for fact that every time I may fall my family will be right there to catch me, and help me back up. The world around is full of people constantly judging you and faulting you for any mistake you’ve ever made. My family is always there to help me see how extraordinary I really am, and to tell me that I can do anything as long as I keep my faith. The people in my family are the best friends I’ve ever had.
Being away at school has caused me to see how much I depended on my family. Going away to school has caused me to see how much I truly do appreciate them. Whenever I feel like giving up I think of them back home, and I remember that they are all there rooting for me. They believe in me, and always will, because of my family I am better, stronger, and work harder.
