“Love never fails”. I believe in this Bible verse from 1 Corinthians 13:8. Love is unconditional and is something a person can count on when all else seems to fail. From smiles exchanged between lovers, to embraces felt between family members, to lyrics heard from a song. Love is not always seen, felt, or heard in the same way, but is certain to radiate through life and oneself.
Love is truth and hope. In times of uncertainty, love is something to value and to believe in. Love cannot be defined by one word. It cannot be felt in one definite way. It may mean something completely different to one person than the next. But love is something everyone needs and deserves. And this I believe.
Love is many different things in my life. It is my family, my friends, my heart, my soul, my whole reason for living. Love is my life: past, present and future. It is the memories I hold close to my heart, the things I am grateful for every day, and the motivation that gets me closer to where I want to be and who I want to become. Without these things, I have nothing. Without love, I am nothing.
Love is what I see every day from coast to coast. From the beautiful sunsets and warm autumn nights in Arizona to the changing leaves and flurries falling in Pennsylvania. Love is what I feel from coast to coast. It is the sun shining bright and the mugs of hot cocoa. There is no definite shape, smell, feeling, or flavor of love. Love is in me and it is constantly circling throughout my mind and my heart.
Love is there when it is least expected and when it is most needed. It shows up unannounced and does not care about previous plans. Love has a mind of its own and will change your life in ways never imagined. Love always gets its way, and love always wins.
Love is a noun and a verb. To have love, and to love. Love is rolling down the car windows and singing loudly to my favorite song. It is an inside joke with my best friend, a kiss on the forehead from my boyfriend, and advice from my mother. Love is what I try to teach my younger sister. It is the way I try to live my life. When I have a bad day, love is what I turn to. Love is who I turn to. Love surrounds me. It is the only thing that is constant in my life and because of this, love never fails. This I believe.
