I believe we all need “that something to look forward to”:
We need that something to look forward to, that something out on the horizon that shines brightly and beams hope for a brighter future. It doesn’t have to be big, and sometimes it doesn’t even have to happen. What matters is having dreams and visions of how we want our lives to be. We all need something positive to look forward to, dreams to work on and work towards. These dreams keep us positive, motivated and inspired. In this moment in time we need that “something to look forward to”, for most of us, maybe now more than ever. We need a large dose of hope. I believe people, organizations and countries are doing great things every day. I believe we need to hear about these great things more often. Positively breads positively. I believe we need to always ask ourselves first, “what can I do”. As individuals we need to believe in our abilities to make positive changes for ourselves, our communities, and our organizations. We need to believe again that we are strong, creative and can do great things when we put our minds to it. Great things don’t magically happen, positive change starts with an individual’s thoughts and are then acted on by “the man in the mirror”. When we take time to dream, we often realize our dreams are not our reality. That realization is a strong motivator, a good thing; a powerful tool. I believe we are tired of the negativity and that we are all searching for that bright light that beams hope for a brighter future. I believe many small positive individual changes can have an enormous positive influence on our world. I believe we as individuals have the power to initiate and make positive those positive changes. I believe we can create, “that something to look forward to”.
