At all times, I carry a small pad of paper for whenever I get an interesting idea. These ideas range everywhere from story concepts, to scenes for a movie, to paintings, or to websites. These papers filled with my hasty scribblings represent something I do not want to lose. I do not want to lose my original perception – and I want to utilize that originality to contribute to this massive and purely artistic world around us.
As a result, I believe in the power of conveying inspirations through art. When I say art, I do not refer to a simple picture on tapestry. I refer to the people who portray an ideal conception through any object. I refer to the people who create television shows with moralistic conclusions; the people who paint a flag across their chests; the people who write novels; the people who spray-paint vulgar messages under a bridge on the highway – These people make life worth living.
I have often wondered what life would be like without any novelty or uniqueness to observe. I then realize that there would not be any meaning to life, for art is what defines us. I believe whenever one examines something with an exceptional aesthetic power, he/she begins to perceive another fact about their self. The capability of marveling at new thoughts in the world allows art (and ideas) to further evolve and to further represent the sole beauty of humans.
Excellent evidence for the obvious relevance of art to every individual can be found in history books. Cultures from past ages are understood through their beliefs and ideas, which can only be found through their expression of art. Thus, I hope that my artistic expression can help not only the current generation to understand me, but also future generations.
