Everyday we get up and start our busy lives. Woundering if we will accomplish all of our goals. Looking back in time, I thought the house had to be cleaned every day, homecooked meals and I spent time making sure my kids looked neat and clean constantley.

Having four children and working full time, I failed to spend quality time with each individual child. Even though I was reguarded as a good mother I would love to have the chance to change my past priorties. I believe a mother plays a larger role in a childs character, confidence and outlook on life.

I would fuse at my children about cleaning their rooms and doing their home work, if I could take the fussing back I would spend more time being patient and explaing why they needed to clean and do home work. Fusing at children only leaves bad memories.

taking time to talk with your small children about their feelings, what they like and the things they are intrested in doing. Helping children build confidence and self worth is very important. Even though my children always knew they were loved and protected, I fell short of the important things that help children develope into stable adults.
