This I believe.

I believe that personal beliefs can be multitudinous and diverse. It is this amalgam of ideals that defines and makes us each unique.

I believe in the power of positive thinking.

I believe in respect.

I believe that people should be responsible for their own actions.

I believe that someone dying of AIDS should never die alone.

I believe in the power of a dramatic play.

I believe that Stephen Hawkings is this and possibly future generations’ Einstein.

I believe you should sing as though no one can hear you.

I believe that my “daughter”, Grey (a cat), has stolen my heart!

I believe in love.

I believe in the beauty of nature’s design.

I believe in paying it forward.

I believe in fate.

I believe in unconditional love. Just look into any dog’s eyes.

I believe in random acts of kindness.

I believe Donald Trump should get another hairstylist!

I believe in Santa Claus. He is inside each of us.

I believe in the power of the written word to change minds.

I believe we are all part of the vast cosmos from where all life and existence sprang.

I believe each morning you wake up is a good morning.

I believe we are who we want to be.

I believe that Oswald was a lackey. I believe that there was a conspiracy.

I believe in tolerance towards my fellow man.

I believe in an all knowing divine creative power. Who else could have painted the tapestries we call the heavens?

I believe in assisted suicides for the terminally ill who are beyond all hope for recovery.

I believe in mankind’s capability for good, despite today’s evidence to the contrary

I believe they should bring back the TV show, Alf.

I believe in America.

I believe in living each day like it was your last. It might be!

I believe that man shall walk amongst the farthest reaches of the galaxy one day.

I believe in personal sacrifice.

I believe there is life out there in the universe; intelligent life too. That might explain why they have not visited us.

I believe we are all put here for a reason.

I believe Princess Diana should not have died. She was a beacon of charity and compassion that this world so desperately needed.

I believe in being a shoulder to cry on.

I believe dogs and cats don’t live long enough. Just ask any pet owner.

I believe life is all about change.

I believe there is enough injustice in the world. I’ve been to Dachau.

I believe Tibetans should be free. They were.

I believe in free speech and press.

I believe Bob Marley was right.

I believe in spaying and neutering.

I believe in truth.

I believe that all of man’s religions are inherently the same.

I believe that science is only limited by our imagination and the lack of appropriate language to express it.

I believe that professional athletes should not take steroids. What an example we set for our youth.

I believe you should live with no regrets.

I believe I’ll never forget that September day.

I believe that we as a planet will not come together until we reach for the stars.

I believe in making a stand.

I believe that we should treat each other as we ourselves care to be. Maybe there is something to the quote from the Bible “Love thy neighbor as thyself”.

I believe in the President’s power to set a much needed example. Unfortunately, I feel, we have to go back to Kennedy for that.

I believe in karma. Just in case.

I believe that “marriage” is a civil decision and not of religion.
