When you think of humor, what do you think of; funny jokes, friends, or a clown? I believe humor is a huge part of life, and don’t know what I’d do without it.
People know what they like, and most like people with amazing personalities. Humor is a big thing that makes up a person’s personality. If people like your personality they’ll want to be around you, and hang out with you. If you’re always carefree and funny, you’re probably guaranteed to have a lot of friends. For example, I know a kid who is extremely shy. If someone tells a joke he would smile, but not burst out laughing. I feel a bit awkward when I’m the only one laughing, to tell you the truth. He also has little friends and not many people like being around him.
Humor is also very important in life. My friends are funny, and I love them for that. They will always cheer me up when I’m feeling down. I can always count on them for making me smile and laugh! Humor means a lot to me, and I have no idea what I would do without it.
When people have a good sense of humor people love to be with them. It can also get you a long way in life. For jobs people look for good personalities and excellent social skills. If you’re at an interview and show your “inner humor” you’ll probably get hired! I think we all enjoy funny jokes and anything funny. Humor can turn a bad situation better. Even when someone is having a bad day or is really depressed, humor can turn anything better! Even if you just make someone smile it will lift their spirits!!!
My family also uses a lot of humor. They tease me and joke around with me in a humorous way. They can make me feel better after a bad day. If I make a mistake, they might tease me or make fun of me, just to “tell” me its okay! I do the same to my brother and mom and dad, and people. So I know it’s ok to make simple mistakes, and stuff! Some times if I yell at them or get mad at them I’ll make a joke to relax them and say “sorry”.
I believe humor is a huge part of life, and I don’t know what I’d do without it!
