I Believe In God
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. This is the very powerful first line of the Catholic Nicene Creed. Our God indeed, is the wonderful Father and the Creator of heaven and earth, and everything living on it. We wouldn’t be here today, along with all the plants, animals, and bodies of water, if it wasn’t for our everlasting Father. He is always with us watching over us everywhere we go. He loves each of us in our own way because we are all children of God.
I will always have trust in God. He has helped me through so much and is always there to answer my prayers. If you just have faith and believe in God, He will answer your prayers and comfort you in times of trouble. My faith in God was strengthened this past summer when my family and I needed Him. My cousin was born prematurely and wasn’t expected to live. We all pulled together and prayed, and asked everyone we knew to pray for him. My cousin survived several setbacks, and is a miracle baby. Today, he continues to grow and thrive. We are all thankful to God for answering our prayers.
God is very comforting. He doesn’t judge, and is always there to listen. He is someone you can talk to when you are lonely. He knows we are not perfect. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, but no matter what, we can turn to God. He has always been there for me. By believing in Him, it makes us better people, and we make the world a better place.
