I believe in holding ‘belief’ responsible. I believe in showing ‘belief’ to be against nature. I believe that ‘belief’ is limiting, tribal, and destructive, as a human endeavor. The investigation of the universe will only suffer if ‘belief’ is present, and science, being the only valid tool for knowledge, shows us that ‘belief’ is obstruction, ignorance, and folly. Knowledge is not a feeling, nor is it announced by gods or priests. It is an interaction with nature, not a legend. I believe in Man’s ability to know, not to be told.
