I believe in the power of friendship. Good friends will always be there for you when you need them. Your friends can help you become what you want to be. Choosing good friends says a lot of who you are. Friends can become your roll models and it is important to have good roll models. Choosing good friends help you make good choices and stay out of trouble.
I have a best friend who I have been friends with since we were in third grade. We have always done everything together. She has been there for me when I need her and I am always there for her when she needs me. Sometimes we get into silly little friend fights and don’t talk for awhile but as soon as one of us have a problem we turn to each other for support. We have laughed together, cried together, and everything in between. We help each other with school, boys, or just whatever come up at the time. We have been through many good times and many bad times. Even our dogs are best friends. Now we have made it through high school and we are both in college. She decided to go to school far away and I went a little closer to home but far enough away. I have made many new friends but no one can take her place. She has had some troubles making new friends and adjusting to the huge change. I still talk to her everyday and help her get over the stress of the major change. She has went through a huge problem and I am there for her but only over the phone. She has finally realized that maybe being so far away from home isn’t as great as she thought. I am hoping that maybe she will come to school with me next year so we can get back to our great friendship that we have always had. I miss my best friend but I know she is still there for me whenever I need her. With my great experiences I have had with my friend I believe in friendship.
