Life is full of surprises, horror and even laughter at times. At times it seems as though it is waiting for you to make a wrong move or trip over your on feet. Happiness is all people want out of life.
One day I had a job, working in travel: that’s what I always wanted to do. I enjoyed booking flights and talking with people over the phone. Things were going well at the time. The one thing that I needed was a car. Without a car life was just another day worrying about how I was going to get to work the next day. Life is a wonderful thing and it offers me a lot. The day came when I seen myself at the end of the light looking for the rope to pull me back in.
Oh how the season changed in just a few months. I thank the Almighty for the change in seasons and believe it changes the world for the best. On that day I went through happiness, sadness and the biggest surprise was that I was homeless at the end of the day. My eyes were closed, but soon opened with the smell of trash blowing in my face as I searched for a home that had no end to it. I had a rough time during the winter season. I found a place to stay but I had to walk to work. I got chased by dogs. It was my biggest challenge ever in life. As the season change into spring I got closer to getting my own place to live and purchasing a car and enjoying life like no other.
This is my story of how I was made a believer that God can take you through anything and at anytime there can be a breakdown in life if your eyes are closed. I went through a lot to get to were I’m at today. It’s a challenge for me everyday but I know there is someone always praying and praising me everyday. From that one moment in time, I learned life-long- tasks so that it never happens again the way it did. You can never say never but if it happens I’m better equip for the task.
