I believe in being Kelsey. In other words, I believe in being myself. In middle school and high school, it is all about fitting in with certain cliques, which people get way too caught up with. This seems to be more common with girls, but even guys do it too. Always trying to wear certain clothes, and even acting a certain way, just to “fit in”. As the years go by, I’ve learned that it is easier and way less stressful just to be myself. If people don’t like me for that, then they aren’t my true friends anyways. I can’t stand fake people who act a certain way around some people, but act differently around others. Which is why I think it is important to simply be myself. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Don’t follow the crowd, be an individual. That’s my motto. Everyone is different and unique, which is why I am proud to be Kelsey, and could never be anything more or less than that.
