I believe in soulmates. I believe there is one and only one person out there for everyone. Everyone says you date Mr./Ms. Wrong before you find Mr./Ms. Right. That is true, people will date people who are not for them, but they will find the person for them, their soulmate. There are many different ways to explain how o person finds this/her soulmate in various beliefs, and a lot of people say they have found them.
The Wiccan belief about the search and knowledge of a soulmate is quite interesting. Wiccans believe that everyone creates their own person energy, and the release of that energy is called an aura. Now the aura that resinates off of everyone intermingles with everyone else’s aura, and if they get a feeling of cold, bitterness, or even hateful then that person is not the person fated to them. On the otherhand, if they have a safe, warm or caring feeliing, then that person is their soulmate.
In Christianity they believe that those feeling are deonstrated or created through actions of another person. The person who creates that constant warm, fuzzy feeling is their soulmate, and they consecrate their feelings and emotions through a marriage ceremony.
Lastly, Eastern religions have many different variations depending on locale, but the general aspect is the same. There is a driving force, that pushes two people together, and that force is Dharma.
Everyone may not say it, but there is only one person in the cosmos for them, and they will find that person someday. But no matter what your belief is, you will find the right person for you.
