There’s only one thing that I know for certain in this life, and that is, that I don’t know.
It is by accepting, this not knowing, that allows me to embrace the Miracle, the Mystery, the Wonder, the Universe that we call God.
It doesn’t matter what word or words one uses to describe the source; after all, language is man made.
It is when I allow myself to get caught up in the trap of words, rules, and unassailable truths, in other words, when I allow myself to get caught up in my mind, that’s when I separate myself from the God. And when I am separated from God, that’s when I forget that the spirit of every living creature is within me, and my spirit is within all of you.
As one cannot know pleasure, unless contrasted with pain, one cannot have faith without doubt.
So I embrace doubt. I embrace the fear, the uncertainty. By surrendering to my fear, I can then embrace the miracle of life and know that everything I do, I think, I feel is sacred.
This I believe.
