I believe in the healing power of a mothers kiss and her cool blowing breathe. As a toddler the trips and falls, scrapes and bruises happen daily. Sad teary eyes looking up, arms stretched toward you. So much pain! The injury clearly is only visible on the inside, it may not even bleed. But I see it hurts! Then a majical thing happens, mom’s gentle kiss, and a wipe of the tears. Its almost like an invisible novicaine as the pain and tears stop… just as quickly as they began. A cool blow on the elbow scrape or just a simple hug will make it all better. The boo-boo is just fine. For this I believe in a moms healing power and kiss of love.
