Have you noticed? Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s hard, and sometimes it’s really hard. It starts out with it all happening much too slowly; then you are too busy to notice the pace; then somehow it seems to have gone along almost too fast; then there is more in the past than is left for the future; and then before you know it, it’s almost all over… Just as the bumper sticker says: “stuff happens”, life happens, your life, while using life’s only currency—time!
So what to do? Well, you try hard; you work hard; you avoid harming others; you never lie, cheat or steal; you never give up; you guard your soul thru God; you do good with honor and integrity; you love with all your heart; and you pass all this along to your children by word and deed. Yes, I know, this is a long list and it’s hard to do, very hard to do. It won’t all be perfect; but, do this and you will have spent your life’s currency well. More need not be asked of you.
Anyway, that’s how I see it…in retrospect.
