I believe that knowledge is power. I believe if you learn enough about someone you can have a certain amount of power over that person because if you learn about a person enough you can find their weak spots and threaten or blackmail them with it. Or, if you do know a lot about them you can make a deal with them.
That was what I was able to do once; a few years back I met someone who was very popular and a real jerk. One day I decided to snoop around just to find out why he was so mean. After a few weeks I found out that he wasn’t as mean as he acted. But when he acted tough he became popular. Then I decided to take some pictures and blackmail him to help me become popular. I took pictures of him helping animals and hauling old ladies across the road, and then I went to school and showed him the pictures and told him that we have a fight and he has to let me win. Which he agrees to. I knew that he would because I knew his weak spot, which is his reputation. Everything went as I planned I did become popular but it didn’t feel right so I started to plan how to become unpopular.
After I finished planning I decided to start acting annoyingly and rudely to get out of popularity. Now the bully noticed how I was acting and ironically he decided to blackmail me. Either I get him back up to popularity or he tells the popular kids that I’m just acting rudely to get out of being popular.
We have another fight but this time it’s to get me unpopular. So, we fought and to make it look unplanned I end up getting a black eye. I did get unpopular; the bully gets back up to popularity and it all worked out, almost. The only problem was all of that acting seems to have followed me to this very day. That is what I believe.
