This I Believe
Share This Essay:
Jerry Lewis says that he was put on this earth to show people kindness, but that he won’t be here forever. He will be in one place, but he might never be in that same place again. Thus, when he meets someone, he makes sure he brings the best possible to that person because it might be the only chance to do so. I wonder about myself. I am not well known, heck, I am not famous, but the people I do encounter, I can change their lives in little ways. Nod a hello, smile, just make sure that the next person knows his presence is acknowledged and appreciated. Because really, that is what I am here for– to love my neighbor. In this I believe.
