This I believe; If someone thows a rock at you, throw them back bread. This means, is someone makes fun of you or something, you say something good about them instead of putting up a fight. Forgiving is a lot better than throwing them back karma.
I could hardly remember how that morning went or how it started when I first learned this. We were in the car on our way to school. My uncle driving, my two cousins, one at the front, one at the back, and me at the back right. Asusual, I was listening to my iPod not knowing what conversation was going on in the car. One morning, out of nowhere, I hear my uncle say in a Filipino accent, “If someone throws a rock at you, you throw them back bread.” I thought to myself, “wow”, at how meaningful this was and how I was going to remember it for the rest of my life. And so I did.
