During the recent Jewish High Holy Days, I read something very moving. After WW2, these words were discoved etched into the walls of a cave in Cologne, Germany:
“I BELIEVE IN THE SUN THOUGH I CANNOT FEEL ITS RAYS
I BELIEVE IN LOVE, THOUGH I DO NOT FEEL ITS GLOW
AND I BELIEVE IN GOD THOUGH I DO NOT HEAR HIS VOICE”
The fate of the writer of these words is unknown, but I DO believe they’re words that ought to be shared.
