I have a destiny.
I have no destiny for power,
that I should command others selfishly.
I have no destiny for wealth,
that I should be the envy of others.
I have no destiny for glory,
that I should be esteemed above others.
I have a destiny to love,
For my family,
For my friends,
Even for those who do not love me.
I have a destiny to live,
For those who need me,
For those who want me,
Even for those who have no need for me.
I have a destiny to solitude,
To seek understanding of the universe,
To seek wisdom of my heart,
Even to seek what I do not know beyond my self.
I have a destiny of my own,
But it is not just mine.
