THIS, I BELIEVE
I believe that through all of time
Poems help make life sublime
But I also believe that one must grieve
For a poems lacking in rhyme.
The stuff call free verse is an art
In which poetry plays not a part
The wise reader knows, without rhyme, it’s prose
And cannot as well touch the heart..
I believe that rhyme is the key
To the beauty found in poetry
So let’s not admire the free versifier
And give credit to rhymers like me!
