I believe in a look. When my children were born they looked up at me and I felt as though we were connected. It almonst took my breath away. When I walk down the sidewalk and I meet someones gaze I smile and in an instant I feel connected to that person. More often than not, people look away or look down. It makes me feel sad that people do not want to say hello or give a little smile. Why don’t people want to feel that connection? I believe in a look, a bond, a connection, something unspoken. When I do see a person that will say hello, smile, nod or wink I feel that there is hope that people are not isolated and don’t want to be. I love to look into people’s eyes, especially my children. I feel connected in a way that I have never felt before. The innocence is intense and I hope that they too will look.
