This I Believe

I believe that children are gifts from God.

I found out I was pregnant with my son the weekend after I buried my grandfather whom I was very close to. So I believe that God took one person I was really close to and loved very dearly and gave me someone else I love very much. Another reason I believe that children are gifts from God is because I have a sister whom the doctors said she could not get pregnant without fertility drugs, but she could not afford these drugs. She had just about given up hope about having a child of her own when she found out she was pregnant. The pregnancy was a high risk one and the baby was born 4 monthes premature, but she is a healthy little girl now. She is a true gift from God. These are just a couple of the reasons I believe children are gifts from God.
