This I Believe

I believe women are strong
I believe in my mother. She is beautiful and strong, but also afraid to step into deep waters. She loves all four of us: Vanessa, Cassie, Samantha and I. She loves us all the same, but differently. Her life has been us·magical and constant. She will always be our (Fairy Mother.)
I Believe in the ties twin sisters have. The blood spilled is not isolated; each shares in the sorrow. It is almost as if it is, payback for loving someone so wholly.
I believe in my older sister- the one that claims she has no talents; she hasn’t a clue that her laughter saturates my memories. She glows.
I Believe in my youngest sister; she is a beauty all her own; I hope she doesn’t feel that anymore; the loneliness.
I believe in the grandmothers and the grandfathers that fought there way to create us.
